I usually buy my anime DVDs at Futureshop.ca since they have the best price and free delivery over $70 CAD (round off), but I've since discovered Rightstuff.com, like when you click on the official site of Funimation of whatever Anime it is that your interested in, it will take you to Rightstuff.com if you want to buy the dvd for that anime. The prices seem pretty good but you have to spend over $150 to get free shipping. I don't mind and all, but I'm not too sure about the site and the prices myself since it will be my first time buying at that site. Does anyone have any helpful info to give a first time buyer of that site? Do they charge USD or CAD on your credit card? Since I live in Canada, CAD is easier for me. Is it a pretty decent site or is there a better site to buy Anime, like the official DVDs, not copied versions of the DVD. A fan warned me about one site, the reason why the prices were so cheap is that they are copied versions of the DVD and not the official DVD. We can't read Japanese :D We're trying to figure out wtf is going on in this book, but so far we have found no summaries and no translations. I am asking this for a friend as she brought up a good point in her own LJ... where are the handicapped heroines who "get the guy" (as oppsoed to the guy getting the girl)? I can name plenty of handicapped male heros. But not a single female hero who ends up as the romantic interest. I told her that anime and manga are full of a lot of things that westerners consider taboo... surely manga or anime has to have a few handicapped female heros who end up in a romantic relationship?
